Quick Life Check Up
To be optimally healthy we need the emotional, chemical and the physical elements of ourselves to be well balanced.
Today let’s check in on how life is stacking up for you and what you can do to upgrade an area that is, perhaps, not running as smoothly as you’d like.
I’m sure you’ve done a wheel of life before, but they are best used repeatedly to get the most out of them, so you can identify where things are working and where your energy is stuck.
So with that being said let’s have a go at the exercise below.
In the following areas score yourself on how you feel you are doing on a scale of 1-10 currently:
- Physical Health and Fitness
- Eating Habits
- Stress Management
- Communication Skills
- Social and Fun Time
- Personal Growth
Now in the same areas score yourself from 1-10 for where you would like to be.
And finally in each area write out one action you can take to move you closer to the score you gave in the second part of this exercise.
Now pick the one that feels the most in need of an upgrade and make a plan for achieving that action item.
If these areas are all spokes on a wheel, the more balanced the wheel the smoother your life is going to run and therefore the better your mental/emotional health is likely to be.
